Terms of Use

The rules for using InternWithUs, for students and for employers.

Agreement

These terms are between you and [Legal entity name — not yet provided], which operates InternWithUs. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Who may use InternWithUs

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may only use the platform with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Employers must be a real, operating business and must give accurate company details for verification.

Students never pay

Applying is free, and being hired is free. We will never charge you a fee to apply, to be shortlisted, to be selected, or to receive a certificate. If anyone asks you to pay for any of these — including someone claiming to represent us or an employer on this platform — it is not legitimate. Please report it to [Support email — not yet provided].

Paid roles only

Every internship listed must carry a stipend greater than zero. Unpaid and “exposure-only” roles are not permitted and are rejected by the platform itself, not merely by policy.

How stipends are paid

The stipend is agreed between you and the employer before you join, and it is stated on the listing. The stipend is paid to you directly by the employer. We do not currently hold, process or transfer any money, and we are not a party to the payment. We do not guarantee that an employer will pay, though we verify employers before their listings go live and act on reports of non-payment, including removing an employer from the platform.

If a stipend is not paid, tell us at [Support email — not yet provided].

Employer verification

Employers are reviewed by our team before any of their listings become publicly visible. Verification means we checked the company details submitted to us. It is not an endorsement, a credit check, or a guarantee of an employer’s conduct.

Certificates

When an internship is completed, the employer may issue a certificate through the platform. Each certificate carries a unique link and QR code so anyone can verify it. Certificates record what the employer confirmed; we do not independently assess your performance.

What you may not do

  • Post a listing you do not have authority to post.
  • Post an unpaid role, or misstate the stipend.
  • Ask a student for money, documents unrelated to the role, or personal financial details.
  • Impersonate another person or company, or submit false verification details.
  • Scrape, resell or redistribute listings or student data.
  • Post unlawful, discriminatory or misleading content.

We may suspend or remove any account that breaches these terms, and we may remove any listing at any time.

Reviews and reports

Students may review employers after a completed placement, and anyone may report a listing. Reviews must be honest and based on real experience. We may remove content that is abusive, defamatory or knowingly false.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload — your résumé, profile and reviews. You grant us permission to host and display it as needed to run the platform: for example, to show your application to the employer you applied to.

Closing your account

You can ask us to delete your account at any time. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

Liability

InternWithUs is a marketplace. We are not the employer, we are not a party to your internship agreement, and we do not supervise the work. The platform is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for an employer’s or a student’s conduct, for unpaid stipends, or for indirect losses. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction.
